Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid subscriptions and one-time purchases made through cvpro.in from Talpro India Pvt Ltd ("CVPRO"). It is published in compliance with the Reserve Bank of India refund guidelines and the terms of our payment gateway partner, Razorpay.

2. Free Tier

The Free tier is provided at zero cost and no refund is applicable. You may discontinue use at any time by deleting your account from /settings.

3. Monthly Paid Plans

  • You may cancel a monthly plan at any time from within the product. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing cycle; you retain access until that date.
  • No pro-rata refunds are issued for partial months already commenced, except where required by law.
  • First-time subscribers are eligible for a 7-day evaluation refund on written request to billing@cvpro.in within 7 calendar days of the first subscription charge, provided no more than 100 candidate evaluations were run during that window.

4. Annual Paid Plans

  • Annual plans are billed up-front for 12 months at a discounted rate.
  • Within the first 30 days of the annual term, you may cancel for a full refund minus usage fees for evaluations run during that period (billed at standard monthly rate).
  • After 30 days, cancellation terminates auto-renewal; no pro-rata refund of the remaining term is issued, except where required by Section 5 below.

5. Mandatory Refund Situations

Regardless of plan, CVPRO will issue a full or pro-rata refund where:

  • The Service has been unavailable for more than 48 continuous hours in a calendar month due solely to CVPRO's fault (excluding scheduled maintenance with prior notice), in which case the affected pro-rata period is credited.
  • A material, undisclosed breach of the Terms of Service by CVPRO is established.
  • A duplicate charge or demonstrable billing error has occurred.
  • Applicable consumer-protection law requires a refund.

6. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email billing@cvpro.in from the account email address, including your order/invoice ID and reason.
  2. CVPRO will acknowledge within 2 business days (IST) and decide within 7 business days.
  3. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment instrument via Razorpay within 5–10 business days of approval; settlement may take an additional 3–7 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

7. Chargebacks

Please raise billing concerns with us before initiating a chargeback. Unsolicited chargebacks that are subsequently reversed may result in account suspension pending resolution, along with the chargeback fee passed through at cost.

8. Tax & Invoices

All prices are denominated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of 18% GST (IGST/CGST+SGST as applicable) unless expressly stated otherwise. A GST-compliant tax invoice is issued within 24 hours of each successful payment.
