RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing)

A model where an enterprise outsources all or part of its recruitment function to an external provider who acts as an extension of the internal HR team.

Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) is a business model where an organization transfers all or a significant portion of its permanent recruitment activities to an external service provider. Unlike traditional staffing agencies that fill individual positions, an RPO provider embeds within the client's organization and manages the end-to-end hiring process as a strategic partner.

RPO engagements typically cover sourcing strategy, employer branding, candidate pipeline development, screening and assessment, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding support. The RPO provider operates under the client's brand, using the client's career page, email domains, and communication templates to provide a seamless candidate experience.

In India, RPO has gained traction among mid-size companies that need enterprise-grade recruitment capabilities without building large internal talent acquisition teams. RPO providers bring process expertise, technology platforms, sourcing networks, and scalable delivery models that would be expensive to develop in-house.

CVPRO serves as the technology backbone for RPO delivery. RPO providers deploy CVPRO across their operations to deliver AI-powered screening, standardized assessments, and branded candidate presentations under their client's brand identity. The platform's white-label capabilities allow RPO teams to operate CVPRO as if it were the client's own recruitment technology, while benefiting from AI evaluation, QBank assessments, and advanced analytics behind the scenes.
